CFAVs and cadets can reset their log in credentials for their Defence Gateway account by selecting ‘Can’t Log In’ on the Defence Gateway log-in screen. You will need your service number (pnumber) from your Westminster record.
Make sure you are using the following format to enter your DOB into the Defence Gateway registration form: 14 Feb 1995 (rather than 14/2/95, 14th Feb 1995, 14 February 1995).
Have you been added to JPA? Ask your Administrator to check that your details in JPA (name, service number, DOB) exactly match what is on your Westminster record.
If your service number (pnumber) has changed you will need to upgrade your Defence Gateway account to maintain the link between Westminster and the Defence Gateway.
To upgrade your account:
Go to the 'My Account' app on the Defence Gateway front page
Select 'Upgrade my Account'
Select 'Yes' to Do you have a staff/service number
Enter your new service number and DOB
Click 'Upgrade Account'
Log out and then back in to your Defence Gateway account
